The third item in my box is a mint open front blazer. It has an angular cut and super cute zipper details for interest. Unfortunately, it was too big for me (length wise in the arms and across my shoulders – I’m just short) and the pics where I wore it don’t do it justice. So, I here is a flat layout to show you how I would style it.
For work I added the blazer (how awesome is this color?!) to simple black crop pants and a striped tee. And if you ask me, leopard accessories always take an outfit to the next level. In one outfit I kept the colors at mint, black, and white, but in the second I added pops of red. Red and mint is one of my fave combos, but pink, coral, yellow, any of them would work!
And last, but most definitely not least, my fourth item is a striped tank dress. I don’t think it’s any surprise that I love stripes. And I love ruched sides to accent my belly during pregnancy. And I love dresses. And I love that it’s a tank cut which I’ve been looking for as it gets warmer. I. LOVE. IT. ALL.
This dress couldn’t be more perfect for me and it’s exactly what I’d been looking for, but wasn’t having any luck finding. Hannah (my Bumpstyle Box stylist) nailed it! The best part is, I can literally think of at least 10 ways I want to wear this dress before the baby comes (but I’m only going to show two today). And that makes it my ideal piece of maternity clothing. Here are a couple of pics, but this dress is a keeper and will be showing up quite a bit more!
For weekend I chose to wear comfy converse and layer a denim vest. But the options are truly endless – sandals, sneaks, booties and any jacket or cardigan.
Overall, I had a great Bumpstyle Box experience – the website is easy to use, the service is amazing, I felt like the items were truly selected for me. And best, it was a way to discover some new pieces I never would have run across while matenity shopping. It’s all made so convenient too!
What is your favorite of the pieces or styles I put together?
