One thing I’ve missed most about being limited to maternity clothes (at least the maternity clothes I bought) is the lack of texture. Most pieces are super stretchy cotton-y material, which is obviously the point because they need to grow with you, but it gets kind of boring when you feel like that’s all you own.
I have missed different fabrics that hang in different ways and being able to layer pieces with different textures to create interest in an outfit.
This lace crochet top (which sells at a dress, but that’s just not happenin’ here) was a great find. I’ve seen it listed on a few sales sites, but I got mine for under $8 here and there are 4 other colors. I ordered the XL for extra space. It fits comfortably over my bump and I think postpartum I’ll take it in a bit to make it more of a tee for layering in the fall. I linked a similar top from Old Navy and the jeans here.
I also love the contrast of the feminine shirt with the distressed denim.
This necklace and ring are pieces from my 4th Rocksbox set and I’m in love. So simple and so pretty. Try Rocksbox free for a month with code STYLETHISLIFEXOXO. It’s a monthly $19 fee to “rent” great jewelry from top designers. You borrow 3 pieces at a time and have the option to buy them at a reduced cost (plus you can use $10 of your monthly fee toward a puchase) or send them back for a new set when you’re ready.
